Big Blake Lake is a 208 acre lake located in Polk County. Big Blake Lake feeds Fox Creek which starts the famous Apple River, making this lake an excellent starting spot for adventurous kayakers and canoers looking for a day trip. Big Blake Lake has a maximum and consistent depth of 14 feet, with very few low spots. Visitors have very convenient access to the lake from two public boat landings, one of them being just 2 lots away from Cabin on Blake. Guests & other residents report Big Blake Lake is an excellent fishing lake with large muskies, Largemouth and Small mouth bass, Northern, panfish, and NS Walleye. You will often see bass tournaments occurring on this lake.

Big Blake Lake is a wonderful lake for boating fun, water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, fishing, ice fishing, and quieter sports like canoeing and kayaking. 

Wildlife on and surrounding Big Blake is plentiful! Tons of bald eagles, otters, loons, fish, bear, deer, and so many other animals are spotted by guests on a weekly basis.
